1. Sheldon loves to get outside...into the "wild"...if only for a brief moment.

2. Finally got a pair of these weirdo Vibram shoes. They're actually pretty comfortable. After an hour-long walk @ Saylorville Lake, though...I learned that I should have taken my time breaking them in...

3. & 4. Spent a couple hours in the morning @ the Blank Park Zoo. The animals were all out enjoying the nice weather...and Miss Addy got to have some fun too!

5. Rushed home after the zoo to host a birthday party for my father-in-law. The table setting was super easy (and all thrifted)...vintage sheet, chippy frog...and 2 etched glasses filled w/ some clippings from my yard.

1. & 2. Finally had some free time AND nice weather...so I def put it to good use. I have been collecting so many goodies lately on my thrifting adventures...but some of them needed a bit of sprucing...i.e. spray paint. Thankfully...I was able to get it all done!

3. Another "finally"...since I was able to get my knick-knacks painted...I got Miss Addy's room done. Yay! Now...she just needs to get a wee-bit older so she can sleep in her big girl bed @ my house.

4. Say "cheese!" :)

5. & 6. Well...looking @ these pics now...I see they are less than lovely...but they tell a tale nonetheless. I am always was on a serious kick for junk food...the muffins (I don't really even like muffins) and candy dish were a'callin' my name. I think I did a fairly good job of avoiding them, though. ::cheers::

1. Lunch @ Maid-Rite...had the original and a side of cheese curds. Mmmm....

2. Finally time to plant some flowers. The weather's been so back-and-forth...I didn't want to plant too soon. Might have to replace some of the ones I planted, though...they don't seem to be doing too well. ::sad face::

3. De.light.ful vintage hair clippy I scored for a mere $2 @ the What Cheer Flea Market. Yay!

1. French toast for b'fast w/ blackberries & whipped cream. The blackberries were my "healthy" addition to the dish...and were very delicious!

2. Mexican for lunch for this group. Good, good, good! Especially Miss Addy practically drinking the guac...she loves that stuff!

3. And...b/c there wasn't enough food in the day...some apps @ Perkins after another inventory at work. (I might have enjoyed some french silk pie, as well...)

4. Decided I needed a bit of healthiness after Saturday's binge-fest...so a yogurt parfait was in order. More blackberries!

5. Outfit for church...I l.o.v.e. it! All the clothes involved in this ensemble are from Old Navy...yay! Necklace: vintage; ring: Francesca's.

1. Kitchen faucet bit the dust (after less than a year...), so I had to improvise and wash my tomatoes in the b'room sink. Had to have my salsa!

2. Said salsa, gracing my fluffy scrambled eggs...accompanied by yummy toast...and, of course, a Diet Coke.

3. Had to go purchase a new faucet...boring. Would have loved to get one of these beauties (the kind you can just touch and they turn on)...not so much in the budget, though. I was pleased w/ our final choice...of which I apparently did not take a pic.

4. I look thrilled, huh?? And dressed for success. ;)

5. Clematis is so full of blooms! Can't wait to enjoy its purple goodness.

6. Random...but so enjoyable. A gentleman in front of me @ the pharmacy...sporting some uber-cool tight-rolled jeans. He was making me so nostalgic. :)

1. Flowers @ Costco...they're always so pretty! Can't wait 'til it's officially warm enough to do some planting.

2. &3. Love this outft! I would wear a skirt or dress all the time if I could (well...maybe if jammies aren't an option). Dress: Walmart; sweater: Old Navy; necklace & bracelet: vintage; shoes: Target (old). My toes are freshly painted too. I stepped away from my usual dark purple/black to this bright green!

4. It was a good afternoon for relaxing...as you can see Milo even got to enjoy.

5. I recently sold my china hutch...which lived in my kitchen. So...until I figure out what I'm going to do w/ the space...I had to come up w/ some sort of vignette. This table was normally in front of the window in the kitchen...but fits here nicely. Just had to add a mirror from my *ahem* collection of mirrors. (I have a problem...)

6. To finish out the day...popcorn, of course!

Not the usual Sunday Snapshots here...instead...a bit of a montage from an afternoon of feeding the ducks w/ Miss Addy. She's pretty much a ham ball when it comes to getting people's attention. Then there's her complete curiosity of the reverse camera on my phone...thus the up-close and personal shots of her lo.ve.ly face (snotty nose included).

Addy was so excited to run out to those little duckies (smooshed bread in hand)...alas, eating was the last thing on the ducks' minds. It is *ahem* spring after all. Good thing Addy just thought they were "playing." ;)

Will have to revisit the pond another day...

1. Morning walk. The light was so pretty. Everything in the neighborhood looked so magical...and we were just about the only ones out & about...so serene.

2. Look #1 for lunch w/ Eric & Gina. "Dress" (actually a house dress): thrifted; sweater: Old Navy (a couple years ago); long, pink necklace: something I scrounged from Sister; heart necklace: a gift someone must've made for my grandma when she was young...it is carved out of wood and has her name burned into it (her maiden name). How sweet!!

3. Although I really liked that outfit...I just wasn't feeling it for that day. Look #2: same sweater as b/f; dress: Old Navy clearance; necklace: pink one from 1st outfit.

4. Red beans & rice @ Buzzard Billy's...a cajun restaurant that has re-opened downtown. My favorite part of the lunch (other than the company)...the homemade hush puppies...oh, mylanta!

5. A recent spray painting project b/f shot. I painted them w/ a floral spray paint b/c it was the closest pink I could get my hands on...not really sure I love the results. Might be re-spraying w/ some good ol' white.

1. My spring-time table decor. Thrifted vase filled w/ scraps from my shredder & some eggs I dyed a few years ago. Thinking I might possibly change it up w/ some jelly beans...can't decide...

3. My outfit for church...the skirt & shirt were both thrifted (Salvation Army). Skirt was one of 2 from Fossil I scored that shopping trip!

1. Ok...so, honestly...this is the only pic that is actually from last Sunday. I had been out of town and just didn't have it in me to be taking pics...pa.the.tic...I know. So these s'rooms...pretty much one of my favorite things to buy @ ye ol' Costco. You get so many...at a great price...and they are delish!

2. Fresh pedi...gotta love it. Plus...I used a Living Social deal that included a pedi & shellac mani for only $23...can't.beat.that!

3. This pic was just too funny to pass up. While doing some thrifting...I discovered these granny panties just "hangin" out w/ the housewares stuff. Someone must have decided they were just too cool to take home. ;)

4. Got our landscaping out front all trimmed up...ready for the new growth. Yay to the warm weather making everything come up green...extremely early.
